Dans ce handicap pour steeple-chasers, notre préférence ira vers Manchego, qui a déjà bien couru sur ce parcours et reste sur un succès par 13 longueurs à Paray-le-Monial la rentrante, et vers Miss Montigny, qui tentera de faire oublier sa chute du mois de novembre à Auteuil dans le Prix François de Ganay. Nous leur opposerons Wilyson, qui peut confirmer après une victoire sur le steeple de Nîmes, et Fripon Du Seuil, qui peut se rappeler à notre bon souvenir en de valeur. Attention à Ayrton Banks, qui est un spécialiste de l'hippodrome. Pour les regrets, citons Blackfield, qui va monter en puissance sur sa course de rentrée à Fontainebleau, In Memoria, qui a joué de malchance au moment de sa chute à la dernière haie au mois de janvier à Cagnes-sur-Mer, et Red Circle, qui reste sur une honorable deuxième place sur les balais nîmois et revient en steeple avec des ambitions.
