Support du Z5 Evénement, le pari phare de ZEturf, ce handicap disputé sur le parcours des 2.000 mètres pourrait tomber dans l'escarcelle de Patrice Cottier et de son pensionnaire Thunderspeed, qui vient de bien se comporter sur les 2.000 mètres de Lyon-Parilly; pris en 36.5, il pourrait bien faire parler "le métier" avec Hugo Besnier à la manoeuvre, pour son unique monte de la réunion ! La partie n'est pas gagnée d'avance face à Maroon Six, deuxième du handicap référence du 26 juin, ici, sur 1.800 mètres en dominant notamment Georges Ville, Eugene Smith, et Véritable; il y a de la revanche dans l'air ce dimanche ! Il faudra surveiller de près Siyouking, pénalisé de 2 kilos sur sa victoire du 26 juin, ici, sur 1.800 mètres et mal placé dans les stalles de départ ce dimanche, et le 8 ans de Ludovic Gadbin Get Set, lauréat de cette épreuve l'an passé en 35 de valeur et avec Maxime Guyon en selle. N'oublions pas Teardrop Explodes, second atout de Ludovic Gadbin dans la course, en forme et pilotée par Clément Lecoeuvre, ni Bobbymurphy, compétitif en 38 de valeur, ni le 8 ans de Damien de Watrigant Kahuna, qui tarde à retrouver la bonne carburation après une longue absence. Pour les regrets, citons enfin Harmony Grey, qui passe un test sur la distance.
