Milord du Châtelet, qui tente la passe de trois, Madison du Rib, qui a ouvert son palmarès de belle manière le 27 octobre à Caen, Milord du Châtault, troisième sur ce parcours lors de son avant-dernière sortie, et Minnesota, impeccable le 30 novembre dans la Manche, sont également d'excellentes possibilités pour le podium. Maestro d'Elfe, après un retour à la compétition plutôt satisfaisant à Mauquenchy, tentera quant à lui de brouiller les cartes pour un accessit.
