Totalement déchaussé pour la première fois et confié à Sébastien Ernault, il a les moyens de remettre les pendules à l'heure. Jugé sur sa victoire du 12 juillet aux Sables-d'Olonne, Ksar d'Essarts peut lui apporter la réplique. King Babel a trotté 1'14''4 sur les 2700 mètres de Graignes, au printemps. S'il réédite ce chrono, il va falloir compter avec lui pour le podium. King's Return retrouve la piste de son dernier trophée avec des ambitions. Kuros Pont Vautier, qui a pris un moral d'enfer sur l'herbe, et King Majano, intermittent, profiteront de la moindre défaillance des favoris.
