Minerve de Vandel, qui aurait obtenu un excellent résultat sans une faute dans les derniers mètres lors de sa récente rentrée nantaise, Magie du Lupin, pieds nus pour sa première tentative de l'année, Migraine de Connée, impériale sur ce parcours le 4 février, Ma Jolie Chose, plaisante dernièrement à Angers, et Malaga de Marzy, qui a déjà gagné deux fois en seulement quatre sorties, ont toutes une très belle carte à jouer dans cette épreuve d'ouverture. My Queen, uniquement devancée par Migraine de Connée lors de sa plus récente tentative, Malice du Gers, très intéressante depuis le début de l'année, et Mamma Paulo, associée pour la première fois à Anthony Barrier, peuvent également faire parler d'elles en bien dans la phase finale de ce tournoi.
