Après un début de carrière compliqué, où il a fait preuve de caractère, Métalo du Rif vient de montrer qu'il avait de la qualité, triomphant de brillante manière en étant présenté déferré des quatre pieds pour la première fois de sa carrière. L'opposition sera principalement formée par son compagnon de couleurs et d'entraînement, Mario Bello seulement déferré des antérieurs cette fois. Présenté pieds nus pour sa réapparition, Marcello peut réaliser un coup d'éclat et sera à surveiller de près d'entrée de jeu. Magic Garlinois et Meleuc du Douarou seront ensuite préférés à Millésime Vivrot et Magicien Ludois.
