On attend un match entre le beau Nobel du Gers, un fils de Royal Dream et de la bonne Gloria du Gers qui a fait sensation pour ses débuts victorieux à Royan, et Norman Pierji, qui n'a pas souffert non plus, de son côté, à Laon. Le premier cité sera drivé pour l'occasion par le Sulky d'Or. Quant à son rival, il évolue plaqué des antérieurs pour la première fois. Le bien né New Yorker ne s'élance pas en victime expiatoire. Il vient seulement de tomber sur un os, avec le "Bazire" Narco As à La Rochelle. Poulain estimé, Norman Happy ne devrait pas tarder à trouver son jour. Natacha Castel, allégée, va tenter de monter de catégorie avec bonheur. Ni Oui Ni Non n'a pas à rougir de son accessit d'honneur à Graignes, derrière Neptune de Blary, auteure d'une démonstration depuis à Vincennes.
