Saignon dans son jardin !

Support du Z5 Ordre, le pari phare de Zeturf, ce handicap pour steeple-chasers pourrait sourire à l'élève de Serge Foucher Saignon, qui est un spécialiste de l'hippodrome cagnois. Adepte de la course en avant et pris en 57.5 de valeur, il tentera de faire mieux que sa deuxième place de l'an passé dans ce Prix Katko support du Z5 Evénement. Lauréat de l'édition 2022 en 55.5 de valeur, le pensionnaire de Mathieu Pitart Jimble Moon aborde cet objectif en 56 de valeur et il s'annonce redoutable. La partie n'est pas gagnée d'avance pour les protagonistes de l'édition 2022 face à Affortunato, qui a été monté un peu loin de la tête dans le Prix Hyères III, à Lord Dragon, titré et préparé avec soin pour ce meeting azuréen par Josef Vana, et à Galop Du Large, qui a déjà bien fait sur le steeple cagnois mais n'a plus de marge en 58 de valeur. Il ne faudra pas négliger la candidature de Rêve De Prince, troisième du Grand Prix de la Ville de Nice l'hiver dernier, ni celle de Miss Cue, qui sera avantagée par le terrain lourd et est compétitive en 58 de valeur. Nous compléterons notre sélection en citant Idéal De Ciergues, supplémenté pour son retour en steeple, Mercinette, capable d'un coup d'éclat dès ses premiers pas en steeple, et Walfer, qui vient de bien se comporter sur le steeple cagnois dans le Prix Roger Duchêne.
