Tenu en assez haute estime, Leader de Houelle sera suivi de près, à l'occasion de ses 1ers pas en région parisienne. Révélation possible d'emblée à ce niveau ! Dépendant du redoutable entraînement de Thierry Duvaldestin, Le Touquet présente un peu le même profil, même s'il n'est pas de tous les jours, comptant ainsi quatre succès et cinq disqualifications en seulement neuf tentatives. Il conduira néanmoins principalement l'opposition, avec aussi Laïos du Goutier, sur la montante, tandis que Luciano Vredebest et Littéraire, venant de se classer respectivement 2ème et 3ème à Caen, sans oublier Le Taj Mahal (Matthieu Abrivard), qu'il convient de racheter, n'ont sans doute pas dit leur dernier mot, au moins en vue d'un accessit.
