Toutefois, la partie n'est pas gagnée d'avance pour l'élève de James Lebouteiller face à la présence de Loem du Tay, en belle condition à l'heure actuelle et à celle de Léon de Source, à la condition de rester sage d'un bout à l'autre du parcours. L'Océan Vert, en constants progrès, Lord du Vivier, qui reste sur une encourageante troisième place sur ce tracé et Loustic de Clécy, qui fait preuve d'une louable constance dans l'ensemble, auront également des preneurs. Loki Factier, confirmé à ce niveau de compétition et Laperouse, à ne pas condamner trop hâtivement sur sa récente disqualification sur l'herbe d'Elbeuf, séduiront les amateurs d'outsiders.
