Our tips

Damysus a échoué dans le Derby d’Epsom en juin mais le poulain de John et Thady Gosden ne s’est peut-être pas adapté à la distance et au profil spécial d’Epsom Royal. Depuis, il a eu le temps de bien récupérer et découvre une tâche plus facile dans cette listed. Avant coup, il fait figure de candidat solide pour le succès.
Deuxième de Delacroix (qui a échoué mais était le grand favori du Derby d’Epsom) en mai, Purview a de nouveau bien tenu sa partie le 17 juillet dernier à Leopardstown, terminant deuxième tout près d’une pouliche qui a montré des moyens. C’est un vrai test pour lui à ce niveau mais sa valeur est haute et les bruits à son sujet sont bons, une révélation de sa part est tout à fait possible. Pas forcément heureux dans son parcours lors du Jockey-Club, n’ayant pas pu se sortir de son numéro tout en dehors, Nitoi va retrouver une configuration plus propice à le voir bien courir et sera donc à suivre dès sa semi-rentrée. Enfin, spéculons un peu en gardant une place pour Sea Scout, qui ne présente pas la musique récente la plus attrayante mais c’est un poulain qui a battu le bon Trinity College en début de saison et vient d’être correct dans un Groupe III relevé. Gagner ne sera pas facile mais son expérience et son sérieux pourraient lui permettre de créer la surprise pour le Ze4-ordre.
