Leonardo Turgot, absent depuis le 21 avril mais doté de bons moyens, Loem du Tay, dont la récente fin de course pornichétine n'est pas passée inaperçue, Lennon, même s'il n'a pas été revu depuis son succès initial du 9 août 2023, et Luxury du Douarou, que Franck Nivard a décidé de plaquer devant pour la première fois, devraient jouer les premiers rôles dans ce tournoi ouvert aux poulains de trois ans. Lightning Margaux, qui s'est bien comporté récemment à Graignes, et Lasco de Bailly, le plus fort le 16 août à Divonne-les-Bains, pourraient toutefois également avoir leur mot à dire dans la phase finale de cette épreuve.
