Restant sur un plaisant succès sur la distance du jour pour son second parcours, Burhan tentera de doubler la mise ici, face notamment à Une Pointure qui est tombée dans un lot de qualité en dernier lieu et qui dispose d’une belle chance ici. Place Principale l’a fait avec beaucoup d’autorité à Borély et passe un test sérieux en cette occasion, venant ensuite avec l’expérimenté Reux, qui rend du poids à ses rivaux mais détient de solides références.
