Remarqué après un début de course raté ici même le 22 juillet, Onyx d'Avril paraît capable d'ouvrir son palmarès s'il réussit à trotter d'un bout à l'autre du tracé cette fois, mais il devra notamment se méfier d'Olivio Bello, qui a commencé sa carrière par une bonne prestation en Vendée, et de l'inédit Or Kalouma, un fils de Royal Dream façonné par Nicolas Bridault. Orlando Magic, sérieux sur l'herbe pour l'instant, et Olarius, intéressant à Grosbois lors de sa qualification, peuvent également tirer leur épingle du jeu dans ce lot.
