Seize poulains et pouliches seront au départ de ce Z5, notre jeu phare. Ils vont en découdre sur la distance classique de 2 400 mètres. Irréprochable depuis le début de sa carrière, et bonne deuxième pour son premier handicap à Vichy en juillet, Britania est une bonne base de jeu malgré son poids. Deuxième d’un lot similaire le 8 juillet à Chantilly, Jeans And Jewells ne devrait pas être contrariée par une distance plus longue. Elle a sa chance, tout comme Cresta Man, qui vient de se faire remarquer par une belle fin de course à l’occasion de son retour dans les handicaps. Kenchak dépend d’une écurie en grande forme. Bien placé dans les stalles de départ, il est compétitif. Sigtuna a été supplémentée pour participer à cette épreuve. Elle se plaît sur la distance et sera de nouveau confiée à Maxime Guyon. Raw Energy, qui vient d’afficher des progrès, Alastor Maugrey déjà placé à deux reprises en 31 de valeur, et Always Time, qui peut trouver sa voie dans les handicaps après avoir fait ses classes dans les courses à conditions, peuvent intégrer la bonne combinaison du Z5.
